According to the National Highway Traffic Safety Administration (NHTSA), there are several safety tips governing how you can be a safer cyclist when on the roadways. I’ve highlighted some of the tips that the NHTSA suggests in the list below.

Make sure you have a bicycle that fits you.
Make sure that you have a properly fitted bicycle helmet.
Use lights and reflectors when riding a bicycle at night.
