How many people do you know who have electric cars? And of those people, where in the world do they plug their cars in? How much is their electric bill each month for charging a little more than their cell phones in the outlets?
Besides the growing concern over a downed economy, many people are still extremely concerned over what they are going to do about their vehicles. Gas prices aren’t nearly as ridiculous as they were a couple of summers ago, but that hasn’t stopped people from taking precautions, and one of those precautions against the rise in gas prices Read the Rest…
According to a recent news article published on Indystar.com, one Indianapolis man is taking the phrase “going for a bike ride” to a whole different meaning. Steve Allen lives in Indianapolis, IN and is using his bicycle to get….well….everywhere.
The article states that Allen has at least five bicycles, using any one of them at any time to accomplish his transportation needs. It doesn’t seem to matter what Mother Nature is brewing up outside, you can usually find him riding.
Allen is a 44-year-old-ex-Marine and typically rides anywhere between 150 to 200 miles per week all so that he can run errands Read the Rest…
Pack Light- When you are traveling on the road, you don’t want to be burdened with a lot of luggage or a lot of things that you don’t need. However, you want to create a nice balance so that you make sure you bring the things with you that are important such as a First aid kit, non-perishable food and a flashlight, etc. Before you leave, make sure that you make a list and check it twice!

According to a recent article published on msnbc.com, more Americans will be expected to hit the roads this holiday season versus flying out of the airports. No doubt, the drop in the number of people expected to book an airline ticket is more than likely due to the economy, which is still suffering some heavy blows. The article states that according to AAA:
38.4 million Americans will travel 50 miles or more away from home over the holiday weekend, an increase of 1.4 percent over last year. The number of people traveling by car is expected to increase by 2.1 percent Read the Rest…
Have you ever noticed that everyone seems to have that one story about getting ripped off by a mechanic or service center when they’ve brought their car in for routing maintenance? I remember my own experience as well, and it is one mistake that I have been careful not to repeat since it occurred.
I had just gotten my first car…EVER. It was a brand new 2001 Nissan Altima that my dad had bought for me, and I was supposed to take it in for its very first oil change. Not thinking anything of it, I drove my car (which was Read the Rest…
Feeling somewhat inferior lately? Might I suggest a trip to Dubai?
Dubai’s own Ultimate Motors is set to release three “Super Hyper Cars” by the end of the year. No reason to re-read that sentence: “Ultimate Motors”, “Super Hyper Cars”. It’s all right there, veritably drowning you in superlatives. Ultimate Motors will be offering only the finest, most sophisticated, and most understated cars on the road. For the discriminating Middle-Eastern Sheik their is Shelby SuperCars Ultimate Aero, for those times when you simply must go 257 miles per hour to get to that Oil deal on time.
Besides the 1,000+ horsepower Aero, Read the Rest…
This is a fantastic video that I came across in which car expert, Jody DeVere of AskPatty.com offers women advice on how to keep your car in great shape. Take a look:
A driver in Louisville is in hot water after an August crash that left two people dead. Bryan Lee was test driving a Dodge Challenger from Commonwealth Dodge when he slammed into a Mercury Sable. Both Lee and salesperson Sayed M. Ghafoori were in the Challenger and reported their speed at around 50 or 60 miles per hour at the time of the accident.
Just one minute…
According to data collected from the control system of the Dodge Challenger by the Louisville Metro Police Department, Lee looks to have been cruising at a cool 102 miles per hour at the time of Read the Rest…
