In the News: General Motors to Launch a New Electric Car

General Motors announced the plans to introduce an electric version of the Chevy Spark.  The Chevy Spark is an electric mini car that will be rolled out in the United States in 2013. This announcement was made during the 100th anniversary of Chevy. The Chevy Spark is not the first electric car by Chevy but the hopes are high that the Spark does better sales wise than the Volt.

An article in Auto Week reveals that Sam Schmidt Motor sports is expanding.  Sam Schmidt Motor sports will be co-teaming with AFS racing and enter a car in the August race at the Mid-Ohio sports car course.  Announcement of a driver is still being awaited..  Sam Schmidt Motor sports races in the Indy car Series.  Sam Schmidt auto racers include, Esteban Guerrieri, Josef Newgarden, Bryan Clauson, and Victor Carbone.  Those four drivers finished in the top six at the recent Indy races.  Esteban Guerrieri finished first in the David Hobbs 100 on the Milwaukee mile.  Guerrieri drove the #7 Lucus Read the Rest…
