General Motors announced the plans to introduce an electric version of the Chevy Spark.  The Chevy Spark is an electric mini car that will be rolled out in the United States in 2013. This announcement was made during the 100th anniversary of Chevy. The Chevy Spark is not the first electric car by Chevy but the hopes are high that the Spark does better sales wise than the Volt.

An article in Auto Week reveals that Sam Schmidt Motor sports is expanding.  Sam Schmidt Motor sports will be co-teaming with AFS racing and enter a car in the August race at the Mid-Ohio sports car course.  Announcement of a driver is still being awaited..  Sam Schmidt Motor sports races in the Indy car Series.  Sam Schmidt auto racers include, Esteban Guerrieri, Josef Newgarden, Bryan Clauson, and Victor Carbone.  Those four drivers finished in the top six at the recent Indy races.  Esteban Guerrieri finished first in the David Hobbs 100 on the Milwaukee mile.  Guerrieri drove the #7 Lucus Read the Rest…

Traditionally, cars are made from metal, iron, and steel.  In the video titled, “G Word:  Man of Steel”, the viewer is given steel making tips and shown how steel is melted.  The video on how stuff works gives the viewer four steel making tips.  The tips are as follows:

Keep a car log. Keep a log detailing each time you put gas in your car and the mileage at that time.  Keeping a log allows the owner to keep track of gas mileage.  If gas mileage worsens it can be a sign that your car needs some attention.  Also keep a log dating and detailing each time you have any maintenance done on your car.
