America’s Top 10 Overpriced Vehicles

According to Yahoo News via Forbes.com, the following are the top 10 most overpriced vehicles on the roads today.  The entire list is comprised of vehicles manufactured by Detroit’s Big Three. No foreign brands make the list, as those automakers’ cars tend to be priced fairly when considering supply and demand as well as their high rankings on consumer-satisfaction surveys. Top 3 Most Overpriced Vehicles

  1. Jeep Liberty- has a true market value of 20.9% lower than its MSRP
  2. Dodge Ram 2500- has a true market value of 26% less than its MSRP
  3. Chevrolet Trailblazer- is worth 16.4% less than its MSRP

Some other overpriced vehicles included:

  • Pontiac G6 Coupe- 10.8% less than its MSRP
  • Chevrolet Colorado-11.1% less than its MSRP
  • Ford Ranger Supercab- 11.1% less than its MSRP

In order to come up with the results, the folks over at Forbes.com used J.D. Power’s 2008 Automotive Performance, Execution and Layout (APEAL) survey results in conjunction with market price figures supplied by Vincentric.

  2. I think because now a days every auto manufacturing companies make good expense in advertising & research & development of new products for making good quality that’s why they takes more price for there product.
