Video: Review of the 2011 Cadillac CTS Coupe

In the following video, Edmunds Inside Line takes a closer look at the 2011 Cadillac CTS Coupe by taking it on the roads as well as down to the track for some testing.
If you’re already familiar with the Cadillac line of vehicles, then you immediately recognize the 2011 Cadillac CTS Coupe as being one of the most aggressive-looking designs that Cadillac has put forth, and it doesn’t disappoint. With a flat, planed body design, it definitely appears as though this coupe was built for speed and handling on the roadways.
But how does it actually measure up? It is a harsh Read the Rest…

Video: Review of the 2010 Callaway Camaro SSLS3

In the following video, Edmunds Inside Line reviews the 2010 Callaway Camaro SSLS3 at the track.
For starters, one of the cool features of this vehicle is that it can go from zero to 60 miles per hour in just 4.4 seconds. On a second attempt, the Camaro SSLS3 goes from zero to 60 miles per hour in 4.1 seconds without rollout. It later covers a quarter of a mile on the track in 12.3 seconds at top speeds of 118.4 miles per hour.
Overall, I would say that this is a pretty nice ride. However, the only question remaining is:

Gripe of the Week: People Who Drive WAY Too Fast

When I first got my driver’s license, I was a glorified speed demon. I couldn’t wait to get out of the driveway and tear down the streets of the hometown where I lived in New York. Looking back on it all, I was pretty reckless and it’s still a wonder how I never once received a citation from a police officer or was pulled over. However, only a few years later, I no longer feel the need for speed.
Thanks, high gas prices.
Needless to say, I am thankful for the recent change over. Since I’ve begun to drive slower the speed Read the Rest…

Gripe of the Week: People Who Drive Too Slow

If there is one thing that really annoys me, it’s when you are driving on the highway and someone is driving in the far left lane (aka: the fast lane) at about ten miles below the posted speed limit. Granted, there are times when you should probably slow down a little in order to exercise caution in construction/work zones, etc.; but if you know that you don’t want to drive fast, stay out of the far left lane!
On certain stretches of road where there are only two lanes on either side (The NJ Turnpike is a perfect example of this), Read the Rest…

Gripe of the Week: Pedestrians

They’re the people who we love to hate. Occasionally, we are one of them. They get in our way when we’re trying to make a turn. If they’re on a bicycle, they slow us down when we’re trying to drive. Sometimes, they run; other times, they walk. Sometimes they bring a friend or push a baby in a stroller or walk with a furry companion. They’re pedestrians.
If you’ve ever sat at a green light for longer than two miliseconds as you waited for someone to finish crossing the street, then you might have felt some of the frustration that countless Read the Rest…

Gripe of the Week: Texting While Driving

Sheesh. You think that we would know better by now, but it seems that it takes a car accident or a police officer pulling you over to get the message across that texting while driving is dangerous and unacceptable. In fact, anything that causes you to take your eyes off of the roadway for more than a second is probably not in your best interest to do. So, then why do we keep doing it?
The Danger Zone
I’m not saying that I’m perfect. Sure, I’ve had my share of “texting while driving” moments. But, I’ve also had my share of close Read the Rest…
