Cool Find of the Week: Mad Cow Motorcycle

This cool find, courtesy of AutoMotto, looks like a motorcycle…or does it?
The above picture looks more like art on wheels than it does a motorcycle. However, apparently, it is quite interactive! The brainchild and creative genius of Billie Grace Lynn, this skeleton motorcycle incorporates the use of cow bones as well as a bicycle frame and electric motor within the cow ribs. And while it may sound somewhat gruesome, this eclectic find is actually quite eco-friendly.
The bigger question is whether or not a vehicle like this would even be ridable. Either way, it’s interesting to see different concepts for motorcycles Read the Rest…

A Delicate Balancing Act: A Unicycle That’s a Motorcycle?

A young, 18 year-old inventor named Ben Gulak has come up with a motorbike called the Uno that still uses two wheels, but they are paired side by side to create one wheel. Additionally, this unicycle motorbike uses something called gyroscopic technology (similar to what Read the Rest…

Why Am I Being Pulled Over?!

If you’ve ever been pulled over by a police officer, usually it’s not a good feeling because there’s a good chance that you’ll end up having to pay a hefty fine. Most people who are pulled over by police officers know why they are being pulled over. Whether it’s for a seat belt violation, speeding, running a red light, running a stop sign or changing lanes without signaling, most violations are pretty clear cut. However, there are those of us who occasionally sit back in the driver’s seat muttering unspeakables under our breath, wondering why we are Read the Rest…

Cost Effective Transportation on Two Wheels

It’s 5:30 in the afternoon and the roadway you were once travelling on has now turned into a parking lot of aggravated drivers just trying to make it home; and to add to your frustrations as you’re sitting there wondering if you’re ever going to move, you see a single motorcyclist weaving in and out of traffic. While most motorists might become annoyed at motorcyclists, motorcycles have become a cost-effective means of travel.
According to the Motorcycle Safety Foundation (MSF), the percentage of motorcycle riders has significantly increased over the years in North Carolina and with good reason. With the Read the Rest…

Wear a Helmet!

The U.S. Department of Transportation has announced that U.S. Transportation Secretary Mary Peters has sent legislation to Congress that would allow states to use federal motorcycle safety funding to promote the use of motorcycle helmets. Currently, states are limited to using the funds for motorcycle safety training and awareness programs only.
At National Transport LLC, we regularly transport motorcycles across the country to major events in such locations as Daytona Beach, Florida, and Sturgis, South Dakota. We know enough about motorcycle safety to tell you that a helmet can not only save your life, but it can help prevent permanent Read the Rest…
