Coming to a Car Near You: Anti-Theft Car Stickers
Sick and tired of your vehicle being broken into by those pesky criminals and car thieves? Well, worry no more. It seems that someone has come up with the idea of marketing anti-theft car stickers so that thieves won’t think twice about stealing a car. There also, apparently, anti-theft bike stickers available as well.
How They Function
If you’ve decided against using an auto transport company and are, instead, risking it all by driving across the country, it may be a good idea to stock up on some of these stickers. The idea is that you put stickers on your vehicle, which give off the impression that your vehicle is scratched up and/or rusted so that would-be criminals won’t want to steal it. After all, what criminal would want to steal a car that isn’t shiny and new [insert sarcasm here]?
Of course, if you are traveling on the roads or making a long trip, you may want to consider some sort of car transport service as an option. In a lot of cases, it is simply safer and more cost effective; but if this isn’t an option for you, perhaps the stickers are. If you know, for instance, that you’re going to be parking your car in a questionable area, you may want to consider getting the stickers. My only recommendation for this already clever idea is that you put the stickers on prior to departing on your trip. After all, if you apply the stickers when everyone can see what you’re doing, you may have the stickers stolen along with your vehicle.
