So, why would anyone destroy a Corvette? Well, in this case, the staff of Hot Rod Magazine claim that it’s because they “take their performance testing very seriously.” As is evidenced by the following video, they don’t hold back as they completely tear into a 1985 Chevrolet Corvette at the Toyota Speedway at Irwindale, all for the purpose of doing a little “testing” on the track.

With a green dumpster located nearby, at the end of the day, the trackside dumpster was filled to the brim with body, chassis and other interior parts once belonging to the beat-up 1985 Corvette.
