It is an unfortunate fact that many women (not all) don’t have the faintest idea what is going on when they take their car to be repaired or serviced by a mechanic. As a result, unscrupulous mechanics will often not even think twice when it comes to taking advantage of this. I’ll never forget the first time I took my car to be serviced when I was a new driver. All I needed was a simple oil change. However, when I left the repair shop, I wound up paying close to $400 for work that didn’t really need to be done. All of that could have been avoided if I had only been a little more knowledgeable about auto repairs and maintenance. The following video is one in a series of five videos to help other women avoid being ripped off by a lack of auto repair knowledge.
