I don’t know about you, but if I can save money on filling up my car, then I’ll sometimes scope out the surrounding areas where I live in the quest for cheaper gasoline.  Depending on the week and where I am heading, my 2007 Jeep Liberty will guzzle anywhere from $50- $100 EASILY.  That being said, I was elated when I discovered this site called GasBuddy.com.

GasBuddy.com is an AWESOME site.  Now, from the click of a button, you can find out which gas stations near you are selling gasoline for cheaper.  Ironically, I would drive around (and sometimes out of my way) just to purchase gasoline that wouldn’t break the bank.  I’ve been using this site now for the past few months, and it has really helped me cut back on money wasted at greedy gas stations.

The site features links to gas price maps, fuel saving tips and more.  Traveling?  You can also use this site to search ahead and find out what areas of the country are selling the cheapest gasoline.  Perhaps one of the neatest features of the site is something called the USA National Gas Temperature Map.  Using different shades of color in conjunction with a key in the bottom right hand corner, this map gives you a visual account of what parts of the country are selling the most or least expensive gas.  It’s definitely worth checking out and bookmarking!
