According to a recent article published in the Reno Gazette Journal, a recent even called Street Vibrations resulted in more accidents between motorcycles and cars.  The event draws somewhere around 25,000 people to the area; but the increase in traffic often leads to an increase in traffic accidents.

Authorities blame both motorcyclists as well as drivers of regular passenger cars an other automobiles for causing the accidents.  It is often a hard lesson learned as one couple found out when they crashed into a sedan and were thrown from their motorcycle.  Often, when we are driving in our cars, trucks or sport utility vehicles, it is difficult to see motorcyclists behind us on the roadways.  For this reason, we need to be especially careful to always be aware of our surroundings as well as look over our shoulders before we switch lanes.  You never know who you may run into…
