Nissan Drops the ‘Leaf’ and Watches Consumers Scramble to Grab it
Consumers (specifically hybrid car enthusiasts) are all a-twitter over news that Nissan plans to begin selling its newest 100 percent electric vehicle, the Nissan Leaf, later this year.
So far, Nissan has teamed up with San Diego Gas & Electric Co. to open up a trail of charging stations to accommodate its newest fuel-efficient and environmentally friendly sedan. People who are hoping to one day call themselves ‘proud owners’ of this sleek new vehicle can already sign up to be first in line at the dealership. Already, it has been reported that somewhere around 50,000 consumers have registered for information pertaining to Nissan’s latest edition, the Leaf.
One of the major draws of this particular hybrid is the fact that it is 100% electric, 0 emissions and is purportedly supposed to be sold at a price that your Average Joe could stand to afford. I guess we’ll see. In the meantime, if you are just dying to get your hands on one of these vehicles, simply visit the official website and get in line
