Do you remember watching The Jetsons when you were younger? There was nothing cooler than watching people ride around in flying cars and having robots do all of the housework. It seems that the Japanese have caught on to this way of thinking and are hard at work to produce concept cars for the future.
The World Needs Efficiency
Let’s face it; the world is getting bigger. Each year, there are more babies born and less people dying all thanks to modern technology. What this means is that there is also a lot suburban sprawl, competition for jobs as well as competition for parking spaces. While we may not be able to solve all of the world’s problems, we can certainly start with our cars.
It is no secret that Americans are notorious for inhabiting large vehicles. From Hummers to Suburbans to Escalades; it seems like we are living big. However, do we really need all of that space? Try parallel parking a Suburban or a Hummer in the middle of New York City and see how much fun it is. That being said, it is important for auto manufacturers to think ahead.
