When it Comes to Driving, I Only Want the Best…
When it comes time for me to get a new car, I only want to drive the best brand out there. And, of course, by “best”, I am referring to a vehicle that is reliable and won’t give me as many maintenance issues, etc. This definitely isn’t a beauty contest. So, what are my options?
Making the Grade
Like many other Americans who have been upset, unsettled and knocked down a few pegs by the recent gas crisis, I am most interested in a vehicle that is going to save me money. That being said, Consumer Reports came out with some information back in April of this year regarding what the best cars in the United States were. I guess that it shouldn’t have been any surprise then to find out that Honda was their top choice.
In order to come up with this rating, Consumer Reports took several important things into consideration such as: the reliability of the vehicle, the vehicle’s overall performance, fuel economy, comfort, interior fit and finish as well as ergonomics ( a design term referring to the technique used in creating the seats inside of the vehicle so as to reduce discomfort and fatigue).
According to the report:
Honda earned the top score in our analysis because it builds very reliable cars that perform well. Its average test score is only slightly under Volkswagen’s and Mercedes-Benz’s. And Honda is the only automaker to earn an excellent overall reliability Rating.
That being said, I guess I’ll be looking at the Honda Dealerships when I think about purchasing another vehicle…
