History of Acura 

Since 1986, the Honda Motor Company has offered the Acura brand as a luxury line of automobiles that, although they are based on many of the Honda models, they offer a higher level of style, sophistication and performance than their parent company's line offers. After having done decades and decades of thorough research, Honda decided to open 60 dealerships with which they could successfully introduce the new luxury brand to the United States market.
