History of Cadillac

Cadillac was founded in 1902 by Henry Leland. Leland was a descendant of the founder of the city of Detroit, which is also where he got the name Cadillac from. General Motors purchased Cadillac in 1909 and within a few short years Cadillac had begun to take off. In the span of 6 years from the time that General Motors stepped in, Cadillac had begun to establish itself as the premiere luxury car.

From the early days Cadillac always aimed at being one of the best and one of the elite. The precision engineering that went into each and every car as well as the stylish and sleek body styles quickly earned Cadillac the prestige it was aiming for. One of the major factors that helped to launch Cadillac was the use of interchangeable parts. This revolutionary technology put Cadillac at the fore front for prestige and elegance.

In 1910, Cadillac became the first volume manufacturer of a fully enclosed cab and just two years later Cadillac was the first to incorporate an electric system. This electrical system allowed for starting, lighting and ignition. Cadillac is also noted for pioneering the first dual- plane V8 engine in 1918.  In 1928 the very first manual transmission vehicle was produced by Cadillac. One of the most noteworthy accomplishments of Cadillac would be the development and introduction of the V8, V 16 and the V12.  After years of tinkering with the engines, in 1949 the V8 became known as the standard in the automotive industry.

The sleek and designer body style was also one of a kind and many advancements through the years have also been credited to Cadillac. In 1926, shatter- resistant glass was used on the cars and of course one can see how this changed to automotive industry. Cadillac also introduced the very first steel roof in 1929. Prior to this point all car roofs were made of wood that was covered in fabric. Cadillac was determined to be pioneers of the industry and all the advancement and changes over

Today, Cadillac is still the choice for many when it comes designer and luxury cars.

"
I want to commend you for being so up-front with your pricing. I got a lower quote from another auto transport company - but once they added all the fees and insurance it ended up being much more than that original quote. I'm quite surprised at how much your company provides for your base rate.

They brought my car from California to Buffalo in 3 days. The whole process took 1 week. Great service. You should be in touch with the driver to know when exactly he will be at the destination because these guys are really fast and might deliver the car a bit too early.
