Federal Motor Carrier Safety Administration

The Federal Motor Carrier Safety Administration (FMCSA) was first established in the year 2000 as a separate administration within the U.S. Department of Transportation (USDOT) , pursuant to the Motor Carrier Safety Improvement Act of 1999. Headquartered in Washington, D.C., the FMCSA employs more than 1,000 individuals, in all 50 states and the District of Columbia, dedicated to improving bus and truck safety and saving lives.

Their primary mission -- to reduce crashes, injuries, and fatalities involving large trucks and buses.

Safety Is the Key

National Transport LLC primary mission -- to do our best to get your vehicle where it needs to be in an affordable, safe and efficient way. One of the ways we do that is by adhering to the strict codes mandated by the FMCSA and the USDOT.  Since the organization's inception they have developed an effective strategy to promote and enforce safety by:
  • Developing and enforcing data-driven regulations that balance motor carrier (truck and bus companies) safety with industry efficiency;
  • Targeting educational messages to carriers, commercial drivers, and the public;
  • Harnessing safety information systems to focus on higher risk carriers in enforcing the safety regulations;
  • Partnering with stakeholders including Federal, State, and local enforcement agencies, the motor carrier industry, safety groups, and organized labor on efforts to reduce bus and truck-related crashes.

National Transport LLC Knows Safety

The FMCSA requires that cargo insurance policies be in effect for the trailers that vehicles would be loaded onto and mandating shipping companies have an authority in the way of a permit, to conduct business on the roads of North America. The way National Transport LLC conducts our business is to make your vehicle's delivery safe and secure. Our dedication to following the FMCSA's regulations to the letter as well as our own high standards of safety and security means that you'll can feel entirely confident about your vehicle's safety. When your hire us, you hire a transport company that doesn't just know its business, we know what it takes to ensure the safe and secure transportation of your vehicle.
